Lee "Dude" Menton was born on March 9, 1938, in Minnesota and is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ann; daughters Kathy Morgan and Christy Menton; grandchildren Jason Gurule and Jennifer Compton and great-grandchildren Joshua and Cadence Gurule and Joey, Seth and Hailey Compton; brothers and sisters Harlan, Floyd, Joanne, Bill, Rosie, Kay and Guy and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Lee worked for Harrah's Tahoe for 29 years. Prior to moving to South Lake Tahoe and Gardnerville, he was a barber in the Bay Area for 17 years. He loved to fish and hunt in his free time. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved and respected by everyone who knew him.

He passed away at his home in Gardnerville, Nevada, on February 17, 2008, after a brief illness. A private celebration will be held at his home in Gardnerville.
