A chemical-type odor in Silver Springs that comes and goes, often at different times of the day and night, is causing residents to look for the source.
Some have pointed to Nevada Wood Preserving, a company that treats wood used in everything from fence posts to telephone poles.
But the manager of the Spruce Street plant said NWP is not the cause.
