Saint Mary's Hospice of Northern Nevada offers a free training class to volunteers interested in working with Hospice patients. Volunteers are instructed on the importance of hospice care for terminally ill patients and providing guidance on best-practice approaches to interacting with Hospice team members. Takes place every Tuesday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church at 305 N. Minnesota St. from 12:30-4:30 p.m. For more information, call 770-6008.
