John R. Ross II, Esq.

John R. Ross, II, Esq., age 55 of Reno and Alexandria, Va. passed away on February 19, 2008. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 1 at noon at Mountain View Cemetery, 425 Stoker Ave., Reno. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that a donation be made to the Hospice Foundation of Northern Nevada, 1625 East Prater Way, Bldg. C, Suite108, Sparks, NV 89434.

After attending the University of Nevada, University of Montana and Hastings College of Law, Mr. Ross practiced law in Carson City. In 1982 he merged his love of aviation, the law and international travel by accepting an appointment as Assistant to the General Counsel of the Dept. of Air Force. At the time of his death, Mr. Ross held the position of Chief, International Programs Division, within the Dept of Air Force, Air National Guard Bureau in Washington, DC.

Mr. Ross is survived by his wife, R. Christina Ross, Esq.; daughters, Andria Trombly of Reno and Lisa Melgarejo of Pinole. Calif.; son-in-law, Daniel Trombly of Reno; father, John Tom Ross, Esq. of Carson City and Las Vegas; sisters, Marla Ross of Portland, Ore. and Cynthia Ross of Reno; brother, Tom Ross of Las Vegas; grandson, Zachary Trombly of Reno; and nephew Janson Ross of Reno.

Arrangements are under the direction of Walton Funeral Home in Reno.
