Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Nicole Eugena Carl, 30, a cosmetologist from Carson City, was arrested at 7:54 p.m. at Sherman Lane and College Parkway on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor contempt of court, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, driving without auto insurance and driving with fictitious registration. No bail was set.


• A 25-year-old bartender from Reno was arrested at 12:45 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, possession marijuana, possession drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, driving without auto insurance and careless driving. Bail was set at $4,597.


• Elisabeth Angel Chair, 48, a food-service worker from Carson City, was arrested at 10:15 a.m. in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony nonsufficient funds and misdemeanor petty larceny. Bail was set at $559.

• School disturbance call at Eagle Valley Middle School at 9:15 a.m.


• Hit-and-run report on Mountain Street at 9:58 a.m.


• Coroner call on Shady Tree Lane at 11:11 a.m.


• Accident at Old Clear Creek Road and South Carson Street at 5:01 p.m.


• Report of a threatening message left at a bank at 5:43 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Arrest on Railroad Street at 12:59 a.m. in Dayton.


• The Dayton post office reported at 6:39 a.m. receiving a counterfeit bill.


• Report that an 11-year-old student battered a teacher at Cottonwood Elementary School at 1:17 p.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 100 block of River Village Circle in Dayton at 6:57 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Vehicle fire on Interstate 80 at 7:14 a.m.


• Report of a dead horse on a slope near State Route 341 at 9:08 a.m.


• Accident on Greiners Bend at 2:57 p.m.
