"Don't Call Us, We'll Call You." That song was written as a joke making fun of the CBS Records label, which had turned Sugarloaf down for a contract. If you can remember the '70s, you'll remember the Denver, Colo., -based band Sugarloaf, named after the Sugarloaf Mountains. The Brewery Arts Center and KOZZ present a revival of the classic rock band best known for the hit "Green Eyed Lady."
Opening the event will be KOZZ's Max Volume and his band. This revival performance will feature Sugerloaf's hits plus hits from Jerry Corbetta's tenure with Franki Valli and the 4 Seasons including "Sherri," "Walk like a Man," and "Big Girls Don't Cry." The concert features Jerry Corbetta of Sugarloaf with special guests Dennis Noda of Cannibal and the HeadHunters, Omar Martinez of Paul Revere and the Raiders and Carson City's own Atlantic Recording artist Michael Furlong.
In the spirit of the revival, the event will be recorded live to produce a performance video. Come to the event and get a chance to be in a rock video. Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
