Carson City
The following people were arrested and booked in Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• An 18-year-old Carson City barista was arrested at 12:16 p.m. Friday on the 2300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of petit larceny for allegedly trying to steal a $60 pair of denim pants. Bail was set at $347.
• A 22-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Friday on the 2000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of battery and petit larceny. Bail was set at $1,500.
• A 31-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Friday at the 1800 block of Walker Drive on suspicion of failure to appear in court on a traffic violation. Bail was set at $449.
• A 60-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 7:50 p.m. Friday at the intersection of College Parkway and Imperial Way on suspicion of DUI and driving at a speed too fast for the road conditions. Bail was set at $1,300.
• Gregory Robbins, a 45-year-old Carson City man, was arrested at 12:34 a.m. Saturday on the 400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of an outstanding felony warrant for grand larceny. Bail was set at $10,000.
• A 47-year-old Carson man was arrested at 3:20 a.m. Saturday on the 2300 block of Blue Haven Lane on suspicion of DUI, his second. Bail was set at $2,632.
• Bryan Karabinos, a 28-year-old Dayton man was arrested at 5:55 p.m. Saturday on the 8500 block of Highway 50 on outstanding felony warrants for possession of stolen property and obtaining a dollar amount of $250 or more using false pretense. Bail was set at $20,000.
• A 50-year-old Reno woman was arrested at 11:56 p.m. Saturday on the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $237.
• A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Sunday on the first block of Airport Road on suspicion of being a minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $237.
• Michael Menke, 26, was arrested at 7:43 a.m. Sunday on the 900 block of South Carson Street on three felony counts of forgery and three felony counts of using a forge(d) instrument. Each count carried a $7,500 fine. Menke allegedly passed three bad checks made out to himself but drawing from another's account at the Carson Station Casino. The bad checks totaled $1,285.73.
Lyon County
Along with numerous flood calls, Lyon County sheriff's deputies received the following calls:
• A man reported at 12:50 a.m. Friday on the 200 block of Fernwood Drive that his wife is mad at him for getting drunk.
• A man called at 9:18 a.m. Friday to report an elderly couple moved into a home on his block, the 2100 block of Fort Bridger Road, and he hasn't seen them since Thanksgiving. He asked deputies to make a welfare call.
• A woman reported an unknown male kept calling her and making threats to kill her at 8:48 p.m. Saturday on the 2800 block of Deodar Street.
