Lyon County Justice of the Peace William Rogers has filed for the district court seat now held by Judge Robert Estes.
The Third Judicial District includes Churchill and Lyon counties. The Department 3 seat is housed in Yerington.
In addition, Winnemucca lawyer Bob Dolan has filed for the Sixth District seat now held by Judge John Iroz who is seeking re-election.
Dolan said it is his first attempt to win a judicial office. He is 52 and a 10-year resident of Nevada.
Finally, Robert Lane has filed for re-election to the Fifth Judicial District in Pahrump.
