Builders donate calling cards to soldiers

The Nevada National Guard's 72nd MP soldiers will receive $1,000 worth of calling cards from the Builders Association of Western Nevada.

The soldiers will be deployed in February.

Ronald Emerich of the Nevada National Guard Family Resource Center said, "Your generous donation of calling cards will make it much easier for 'your soldiers' to stay in touch with their family members while serving in distant locations. As you know, the need for these calling cards does not go away. We hope for your continued support in the future. Once again we thank you for being a charitable part of our community and contributing to our cause."

Money for the cards was collected at the annual BAWN Christmas party.
