Hectic is the best word to describe the Republican caucus in Virginia City, said reporter Karen Woodmansee.

Storey Republicans held precinct meetings devided then again by favorite candidate before casting their votes by secret ballot. About 100 to 175 showed up to cast their vote at the Senior Center.

For the Democrats, Sen. Barack Obama won all three precincts in Virginia City.

In the second precinct Sen. Obama was followed by John Edwards and Sen. Hillary Clinton

Longtime Virginia City resident Aglaee DelCarlo said, "I'm not a Hillary fan. Voting against her was the only reason I came."
