A Carson City judge issued a bench warrant Tuesday for a man who failed to appear for sentencing on a drug charge.
Joel Casillas, 21, was set for sentencing before Judge Bill Maddox on Tuesday morning. When he didn't appear, Maddox issued the no-bail warrant.
Casillas was arrested in April on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after he allegedly sold meth to an undercover deputy. When police attempted to arrest Casillas, he allegedly ran and dropped a white envelope with two bags containing a methamphetamine.
