Mile High Jazz Band Presents "Jazz Under the Stars"

The Mile High Jazz Band, presents an evening of "Big-band Jazz Under the Stars" 8-10 p.m., Tuesday at Comma Coffee Courtyard, 312 S. Carson St. Admission is $5 general, $4 for members of the Mile High Jazz Band Association and free for age 18 and under. Swing dance instruction from 6 to 7:30 p.m. is $5 additional. Maps for Genoa Community Garage Sale available July 7

The Town of Genoa sponsors the annual Community Garage Sale, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, July 12. Over 25 households will be participating in this annual event. Collectibles, furniture, sports gear, antiques, tools and a variety of household items will be sold at the many garage sale sites in the Genoa area. Maps of garage sale sites are available beginning Monday on the Town of Genoa website: http://www.genoanevada.org. Maps will also be available at Genoa stores, Genoa Town offices and Gilmoor Coon Realty located in Genoa. Town offices are located at 2289 Main Street. For information, call 782-8696.

Renown Medical Center hosts orthopedic exhibit

Renown Regional Medical Center hosts the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons' Anniversary exhibit, "Moving Stories," commemorating the last 75 years in orthopedic history, research and innovation.
