Corral West in Carson City will be renamed Boot Barn because it has been acquired by Boot Barn Holding Corp., a part of Marwit Capital Partners II in Newport Beach.

Aloha Medicinals, 2300 Arrowhead Drive, joins more than 1,150 locations nationally where people can find the Tanka Bar, all-natural buffalo and cranberry energy bar. Prior to this, Tanka Bars were only available to Carson City consumers online and through a toll-free number.

Portofino, the four-lane road into the second phase of the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, is being extended an additional three miles.

The road is presently five miles long. Portofino is the second major four-lane road in the center with the other being the USA Parkway, the main road through the complex.

Ken Dillon, president of D & D Roofing and Sheet Metal announced that for the 12th year in a row, his company was named as one of the Top 100 roofing companies in the United States in an annual survey done by RSI Magazine.

In the latest survey, which is based on the annual income of the companies, D & D, which is now 100 percent owned by its employees, was ranked 41st in the nation on income of $23 million.

Harris & Associates announces the hiring of George W. Glendenning as the Regional Business Development Manager for Nevada.

George joins Harris with a record in the sales and marketing of engineering, architectural, planning, surveying and construction services in the Nevada area. As regional business development manager, George will have the primary responsibilities of client development/client services and project management throughout the state.
