Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Jose Alfredo Orozco, 34, construction worker from Carson City, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Burton Street on suspicion of felony trafficking and possession of methamphetamine for sale. Officers allegedly found 16.16 grams of methamphetamine in the seat of a car where he'd been sitting. Orozco has a previous trafficking charge and was once before deported by immigration, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $40,000. Also arrested was a 48-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving, driving without a license and speeding. His bail was set at $1,565.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

- Battery report on Woodside Drive at 2:31 a.m.

- Coroner call on North Lompa Lane at 11:41 a.m.

- Battery report at Sand Harbor at 8:21 p.m.

- Coroner call on Sneddon Way at 10:22 p.m.

- Accident on Goni Road at 11:55 p.m.
