George Hoff , a longtime Dayton resident, passed away in Santee, Calif. He made many friends through his locksmith business.
He was born in Oxnard, Calif. As a chemist he traveled all over as a "trouble-shooter". He served in the Army in the World War II as a photographer.
His wife Mary preceded him in death.
Family survivors include son Justin, daughter-in-law Sheila; grandchildren Joshua and Sarah; daughter Debbie and son-in-law Alan.
Celebration of his life will take place 3 p.m., Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church, Hwy 50 and Flowery, Dayton.
The family has set-up a memorial fund and would appreciate in lieu of flowers any donation to go into the memorial fund. It has been set-up as the George and Mary Hoff memorial fund at the Calvary Baptist Church.
