Today's weather will be sunny with highs 67-77 with light winds becoming west around 10 mph in the afternoon. Tonight, clear with lows 44-54 and west winds 10-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph in the evening.
Friday, sunny with highs 68-78 with west winds 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, mainly Fairview Drive between Roop Street and South Lompa Lane, primarily between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Saliman Road.
Fairview Drive from Saliman Road to Roop Street will be closed westbound beginning Monday, June 9. Alternate routes of travel are Colorado Street to the south, and Little Lane to the north.
Traffic will be controlled at times; alternate routes are advised.
The Nevada Department of Transportation at 6:11 a.m. reports all routes open in Northern Nevada with no controls.
