LAS VEGAS " Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker has released a brief statement following his release from a hospital where he was treated for a concussion and facial injuries after a Las Vegas robbery.

In comments issued Wednesday by his agent, the 29-year-old Walker says he's quickly recovering in a private environment and wants to thank those who offered prayers and support. He's not saying where he is.

Walker was found unconscious early Monday on a street near the Las Vegas Strip, after a night of partying during which he was photographed spraying a nightclub crowd with champagne.

Las Vegas police say he was robbed of a large amount of cash and some jewelry.
