WOW! I read this article after the event to benefit Cameron Hardy at the Plaza Motel Conference room but it didn't stop me from sending an e-mail to F. T. Norton at the Nevada Appeal and asking how can I check into seeing if I am a match. Fifteen minutes and $52 later I am receiving a kit by mail.

It's not a case of let me see, should I do this, can I do this, it is one mother thinking of how extremely difficult it must be to watch your child fight for his life and hoping people will get up and donate.

They had an online poll in the paper that said 77 percent would test to see if they could help. Don't just select the yes button and think "I would," follow up for this young man.

I am begging, yes begging you all to take 15 minutes go to the Web site below and get the kit from the National Marrow Donor Program, register to safe a life. The gift is priceless!

So don't just say it, do it. There is a mother out there who would move heaven and earth to safe her child and if 77 percent of this city would go test it would give Cameron a better chance.

Check out the new digs at Comma Coffee and enjoy the Mile High Jazz Band, with guest vocalists Jakki Ford and June Joplin, presents an evening of "Big-Band Jazz Under the Stars."

That's right, June sent out a news flash stating there is fresh paint and beautiful flowers surrounding the Comma Coffee courtyard for everyone to enjoy. Looking at the stars made easy with great music, great atmosphere and, of course, great beverages. You can also put on your dancing shoes because they will also offer swing dancing.

Anyone who graduated from Carson High School is welcome to attend the "Just Because Summer Reunion."

If CHS is your Alma martyr check out this summer event. Reconnect and see your old classmates.

The agenda is packed with some fun events. I know Marty and Rick Green will be headed up to the Sand Harbor event while others will mosey down to the Old Globe and Mo and Sluggo's and stop in and say hello to Morey Tresnit.

In a moment you watch then hear the first words from a child who was deemed nonverbal. So much for saying miracles can't happen.

The relationship between the horses and their riders brings something to the table that most conventional therapy doesn't - an improvement in student's ability to walk and strengthening of their muscles. Even with certain disabilities they can ride a horse, have control and know they have done what others might have thought impossible.

The Kids and Horses Therapeutic Riding Center helps both children and adults with special needs. The philosophy is simple: Every human being, regardless of his or her disabilities, can benefit from an equine relationship. Join the 35th Anniversary Party for the HorseShoe on July 26 and closing down of Telegraph St. They are looking for a few hot cowboys and girls to raise some funds for this great program.
