A man riding through the grounds of the Carson City Railroad Museum apparently injured himself falling off his bicycle and as an employee was speaking with him, the man died about 11 a.m.
The 44-year-old man is a transient known to officers, said Undersheriff Steve Albertsen.
"He was riding his bike. The conductor was talking to him, then he died," said Detective Dena Lacy.
The man's name is being withheld until next of kin are notified.
The cause of death is under investigation.
