Charlene M. Farris, 66, a Carson City resident, passed away March 8, 2008, at her home.
A funeral service will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith. Visitation will be from 9:-11 a.m. prior to the service. Inurnment will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Charlene was born January 24, 1942, in Watsonville, Calif., to Charles and Helen Dowler.
She was married to Jack L. Farris. Before moving to Carson City, she was a long time resident of Modesto, Calif.
Charlene was involved in many social clubs and volunteered at the Carson hospital and other charitable associations. She loved being active and being around her friends and family. She worked at James Gaskets for many years.
She was preceded in death by her son Terry and her husband. Among her survivors are her sons Tim and Kevin Farris of Modesto and Edward Farris of Sacramento; her mother Helen Dowler of Modesto; and seven grandchildren.
