Disabled vets to meet Tuesday
The Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 7 will have a corn beef and cabbage potluck, 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Veterans Hall, corner of Second and Curry streets. Health project at senior center
The University of Nevada School of Medicine and the Sanford Center for Aging will conduct "Students to Seniors Connection for Health Information" project, 9:30-11:30 a.m. March 18 and 25 at the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane, Gardnerville. The aim of this computer class is to increase the comfort level of seniors, ages 60 and older, in using the Internet and to raise their awareness and use of beneficial health information resources.
