Carson City


The following people were arrested and booked into Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty:


• A 31-year-old Reno man was arrested at 4:24 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Arrowhead Drive and Northgate Lane on suspicion of having an outstanding warrant. Bail was set at $299.


• A 65-year-old Carson man was arrested at 3:53 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Fairview and Walker drives on suspicion of failure to obey a traffic control device. Bail was set at $839.


• A 31-year-old Sparks man was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Friday on the 5200 block of Arrowhead Drive on suspicion of having an outstanding warrant for battery. Bail was set at $635.


• Tyrell Thomas, a 22-year-old Carson man, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. Friday on the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of domestic battery, threats, destruction of private property and trying to prevent a victim from reporting a crime. Thomas, during a fight with his girlfriend, allegedly threatened to beat her and when she asked him to move out of their shared residence, he pulled her hair out of her scalp by her hair extensions and put his fist through a glass picture frame. Bail was set at $12,500.


• A 30-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested at 8:39 a.m. Saturday on the 4300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of failure to appear in court on a warrant, DUI, his second, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving with a suspended license, obstruction of a peace officer and failure to maintain a single lane. Bail was set at $8,000.


Lyon County


The following incidents occurred in Lyon County Friday:


• A man said money was stolen from a parking meter at 2:22 p.m. on the 300 block of Dayton Street.


• A man who was caught stealing earlier in the day at the 600 block of Commerce Center Drive, returned to the store at 2:25 p.m. and refused to leave.


• A traffic stop resulted in arrest for DUI at 11:47 p.m. at the intersection of Nevada Avenue and Ramsey Street.
