Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:
- Efrain Angulo Tapia, 19, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:52 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of North Edmonds Drive on suspicion of felony principal to battery with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor battery, failure to report an accident, attempting to leave the scene of an accident, interference with a police officer and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Tapia was allegedly driving when he got into a vehicle accident on La Loma Drive with a juvenile on Monday. Tapia's juvenile cousin then allegedly assaulted the other driver with pliers, and while someone held the victim's head, someone else kicked him. According to the arrest report, Tapia said he dropped his cousin off after the incident and he didn't know where the teen lived. His bail was set at $33,660.
- Kevin Kenneth Kamrud, a 49-year-old casino butler from Carson City, was arrested Wednesday at 6:13 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor neglect or child abuse, misdemeanor drunken driving, child seat violation and failure to maintain lane. According to the arrest report, Kamrud had a 5-year-old girl in his back seat wearing only a lap belt. Because of an alleged odor of alcohol, officers gave him a breathalyzer test and the results of his blood-alcohol test measured .195, more than twice the legal limit. Bail was set at $3,846.

- Accident on Silver Oak Drive at 8:15 a.m.
- Accident on Basque Way at 10:36 a.m.
- Battery report at Carson Middle School at 2:34 p.m.
- Caller reported at 1:10 p.m. seeing a 2-year-old child walking down Stanton Drive by himself. At 1:23 p.m. the child's father was on scene.
- Residential burglary report on Janas Way at 6:25 p.m.
- Report of "several subjects" battering a female on Carmine Street at Bunch Way at 7:26 p.m.
- Fight report on Corbett Street at 8:15 p.m. A man told police that the mother of the other party with whom he was fighting hit his vehicle and head with a shovel. The vehicle was damaged and the victim was bleeding from the mouth.
- A 1995 gray four-door sedan with Nevada plates 648PZZ was reported stolen sometime before 9:47 p.m.
- Report of a brick being thrown through the caller's window at 9:49 p.m. in the 200 block of West Winnie Lane.
