The state Board of Finance agreed Tuesday to guarantee $3.1 million in bonds for the Storey County School District.
The bonds will help provide for a new wing at the high school, which will provide room for special education classes and a new weight room.
The money will also provide for a professional development center for the school district and the county. The district will use it for teacher training purposes.
