Frances Marvine Peacock passed away May 6, 2008 in Carson City. She was born Sept. 7, 1932 in San Pedro, Calif. to Marvin Francis and Genevieve Marie Gray. She graduated from Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, Calif. She has lived in Gardnerville for 21 years. She married Edward Ernest Peacock on July 21, 1973 in Reno.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Edward E. Peacock; her son Timothy Cary of Harrisonville, Mo.; her sons and daughters-in-law Daniel and Erlinda Cary Jr. of Las Vegas and Patrick and Yocasta Cary of Diamond Bar, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Gary Miller of Gardnerville; sister and brother-in-law Charla and Lee Hardesty of Fair Oaks, Calif.; sister Judy Gallaway of Tishomingo, Miss.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 10 at St. Gall's Catholic Church in Gardnerville. Burial took place at Eastside Memorial Park, Minden. Memorial Donations can be made to Douglas County Animal Shelter in Frances' name.
