Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:


• A 28-year-old employee of the Nevada Appeal was arrested at 6:51 p.m. Wednesday at Long and Russell streets on a warrant for failure to appear on traffic citations. Bail as set at $207.


• A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of East Long Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 47-year-old veterinary assistant was arrested at 9:39 a.m. at Carson Meadows and Telegraph Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a temporary protective order. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 35-year-old janitor from Carson City was arrested Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Fifth Street on suspicion of misdemeanor furnishing alcohol to a minor. According to the arrest report, as an employee of the Laundry Lounge, he allegedly served an undercover sheriff's department decoy a Bud Light Draft. When police asked him for his identification and address, he couldn't provide either. He was booked into jail on $632 bail.


• A 20-year-old Antelope, Calif., man was arrested Thursday at 9:30 p.m. in the 700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $237.


• A 41-year-old man and his 47-year-old brother were each arrested at 6:56 p.m. in the 2200 block of East Long Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and loitering about a public play area. The men are accused of drinking Miller beer and being intoxicated in an apartment complex playground. While one was allegedly asleep under the picnic table in plain view of children, the other argued with the complex manager who'd asked them to leave the premises. Neither of the men live at the complex. Bail for each was set at $474.

• Report of someone living in a lot across from a home on Kansas Street at 4:15 p.m.


• A mother reported a boy threatened to punch her daughter in the face at 6:45 p.m.


• Graffiti in the 100 block of Hot Springs Road and the 300 block of East Winnie Lane.


• A mother reported her 14-year-old daughter ran away at 7:53 p.m.


• A man was reported missing from Harvest Drive at 4:17 p.m. He returned home an hour later.


• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 11:52 p.m.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• A casino employee reported at 7:57 a.m. that a man passed fraudulent bills.


• Report at 8:02 a.m. of someone attempting to break into a Slide Mountain home sometime Saturday night.


• Report of two female students fighting at the high school at 9:53 a.m. An arrest was made.


• Warrant arrest in the 1500 block of East Telegraph Street at 11:31 a.m.


• Residential burglary report on Siskiyou Drive at 11:14 a.m.


• Fight behind 7-Eleven in the 3700 block of North Carson Street at 12:02 p.m.


• Domestic battery report in the 1300 block of Edmonds Drive at 2:12 p.m.


• Report of a rear license plate stolen from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Brown Street sometime before 2:18 p.m.


• A caller reported they had a check stolen and someone cashed it for a "large amount" at 5:03 p.m.


Lyon County

• Battery report at Dayton High School at 9:50 a.m.


• Vehicle burglary report on Fort Churchill Road in Silver Springs at 12:53 p.m.


• Grand larceny report on Industrial Parkway in Mound House at 6:25 p.m.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Felony arrest on Highway 50 East in Mound House at 12:10 a.m.


• Fraud report at Cash Mart on Highway 50 East in Mound House at 9:28 a.m.


• Fight report between two males at Fernley High School at 1:06 p.m.


• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 2:17 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Canary Circle in Fernley at 3:33 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Report of a motorcyclist hitting a guardrail on Geiger Grade and losing a "finger or two" at 3:08 p.m.
