There are some things you can always count on in Carson City. When you drive past Lone Mountain Cemetery on Memorial Day, you will see American flags placed on gravesites of veterans honoring the fallen soldiers that gave the supreme sacrifice for our freedom. Tradition sometimes is so comforting. In honoring our veterans, you shouldn't miss Virginia City's Celebration of Heroes Parade, which is a true reflection of pride. It's also a reflection of the men and women who have always fought for what they know is so precious - freedom. So come join the annual Memorial Day parade, and show your pride.
