LAS VEGAS " School police say a 14-year-old boy was arrested at a North Las Vegas middle school after he was found with a loaded .40-caliber handgun in his backpack.
Clark County School District police Lt. Ken Young says officers got a tip and stopped the boyas school was dismissed Wednesday at Cram Middle School.
He says the teen didn't threaten anyone with the weapon, but showed it to other students.
It marked the 15th time this school year that a handgun had been confiscated from a student at a Clark County school.
