Thelma R. "TR" Ridley

Thelma R. Ridley "TR", age 69, passed away on May 28,2008 at Renown Regional Medical Center. She was a longtime resident of Carson City.

Her survivors are daughters Sheri Johnson and Laura Simpson; sons Rob Ridley and Steven Bryan all of Carson City. She had nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three nieces, five nephews; sister Mary Lamb, daughter and family of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers Joe Bryan and family of Carson City, George Bryan and family of Mascoutah, Ill.

TR was a graduate of Carson High School. She attended Haskell Institute of Kansas. She was a 30-year employee of the Nevada State Industrial Insurance System. She liked soap operas, sports, gambling, dancing, video games and reading.

Visitation will be 10 a.m., Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley; services will be 11 a.m. A potluck dinner will follow at 2 p.m. at the Carson Colony Gym.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is handling the arrangements.
