CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr. was not available.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Honey mustard chicken, carrot/pas, brown rice, roll, apricots, chocolate pudding.

Tuesday: Pork chops, applesauce, broccoli/cauliflower, mashed potatoes, gravy, whole wheat roll, pumpkin surprise.

Wednesday: Beef stew, noodles, garden salad, buttermilk biscuit, honey, Chantilly fruit cup, milk.

Thursday: Stuffed peppers, mixed green salad, spinach pasta salad, garlic bread, red grapes.

Friday: Potato omelet, whole wheat toast, bagel, margarine, fresh orange slices, V8 and orange juice.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

Monday: Salmon with creamy dill sauce, rice almandine, spring mix salad, asparagus, coconut cream pie.

Tuesday: Tomato soup, holiday sub (turkey stuffing and cranberry sauce), baby carrots, fresh banana.

Wednesday: Lasagna, spinach salad, pears, garlic bread, cherry-walnut dessert.

Thursday: Tuna noodle casserole, herb vegetable medley, sliced tomatoes w/Italian dressing, bread with apple butter, oatmeal bar.

Friday: Two beef tacos, shredded lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream and salsa, refried beans, applesauce-raisin cake.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Avenue.

Monday: Grilled cheese sandwich, corn chowder, orange spinach salad, tropical fruit.

Tuesday: Cafe Concept Day. Entree: Lasagna, baked chicken, pork adobo. Choice of garlic bread, rice, sauteed zucchini and carrots, green salad, apple pie.

Wednesday: Spud stuffer, diced chicken, cheese/sour cream, carrots, fruit juice, cherry crisp.

Thursday: Barbecue Chicken, broccoli, apricots, potato salad, bread pudding.

Friday: Hamburger steak/onions, cauliflower, tater tots, gravy, mixed fruit.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, vegetables.

Tuesday: Chicken salad croissant, Caesar salad, baked apples.

Wednesday: Pork chops, dressing, gravy, scalloped potatoes, applesauce.

Thursday: Hamburgers, tater tots, coleslaw, potato salad.

Friday: Baked chicken, broiled potato, vegetables, pudding, ice cream.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Salisbury steak, corn salad, buttered noodles, mixed veggies, bread, fruit cup.

Tuesday: Pork chops and rice casserole, frozen peas, applesauce, bread pudding.

Wednesday: Chicken tetrazinni, corn, carrot-raisin salad, lemon bisque, bread pudding.

Thursday: Tamale pie, cottage cheese with fruit salad, pickled beets, Jell-O with fruit.

Friday: Meatloaf, half baked potato, green beans, green salad, bread, cook's choice dessert.

FERNLEY

Lunch is served on weekdays at Fernley Center, 1170 W. Newlands Drive.

Monday: Chicken cacciatore, linguine, green salad/dressing, pears, cookie.

Tuesday: Barbecue rib sandwich, scalloped potatoes, mustard greens, apple.

Wednesday: Macaroni and cheese, steamed spinach, whole wheat bread, strawberry banana yogurt, orange juice.

Thursday: Beef fajitas, tortillas, Spanish rice, mixed veggies, cherry crisp.

Friday: Breakfast. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, V-8, orange juice.
