Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Merle Delray Buffalo, a 43-year-old Markleeville, Calif. man, was arrested at 8:26 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor battery of an officer, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor resisting an officer and misdemeanor drunkenness. Bail was set at $4,046.

- A 30-year-old Burney, Calif. woman was arrested at 8:52 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor larceny. Bail was set at $347.

- A 34-year-old Carson City painter was arrested at 12:09 a.m. Saturday at the corner of Brown and Reeves street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,000.

- A 53-year-old Carson City electrician was arrested at 4:19 a.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of California Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,132.

- A 35-year-old Carson City laborer was arrested at 11:06 p.m. Friday on Fairview Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failing to stop at a sign and failing to stay inside a lane. Bail was set at $1,246.

- A 23-year-old Carson City construction worker was arrested at 8:27 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of Hotsprings Road on suspicion of an alternative sentencing violation. Bail was set at $3,000.

- A 22-year-old Washoe Valley man was arrested at 5:30 p.m. at the corner of Carson and John streets on suspicion of a misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence and failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $1,500.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Friday:

- A woman was arrested at 9:44 a.m. in Silver Springs on suspicion of drunken driving.

- Report of propane and a regulator stolen at 2:34 p.m. in Silver Springs.

- A man was arrested at 4:51 p.m. Stagecoach on suspicion of drunken driving.

- Report of a child attacked by a dog at 6:03 p.m. in Dayton Valley.

- Report of a domestic burglary at 6:08 p.m. in Mason Valley.

- Report of wreck between a vehicle and a horse at 6:59 p.m. in Stagecoach.
