Heller, Parnell hold on to victory in final results

The final results of the 2nd congressional district race between Dean Heller and Jill Derby were delayed last night by late returns from Washoe County. With all precincts counted, Heller held on to his seat, beating Derby 51 to 41 percent.

Bonnie Parnell also held on to a narrow victory over Cheryl Lau, 48 to 46 percent, for the Assembly district 40 seat. Part of district 40 is in Washoe County.
