CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive:

Monday: Cabbage rolls, linguini, minestrone soup, spiced apples, whole wheat bread, margarine.

Tuesday: Veterans' Day, center closed.

Wednesday: Oven roasted pork with gravy, mashed potatoes, veggie soup, cherries with whipped topping.

Thursday: Beef stew, marinated tomato salad, orange wedges, dinner roll with margarine.

Friday: Herb baked chicken, stuffing with gravy, garden salad, mixed berry cup, tapioca.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road.

Monday: Turkey chili, zucchini, corn bread with margarine, Ambrosia salad.

Tuesday: Veterans' Day. Center closed.

Wednesday: Minestrone soup, cottage cheese, fruit, crackers.

Thursday: French dip, mixed veggie, pasta salad, baked apple.

Friday: Biscuits/sausage gravy, eggs, hashbrowns, banana, V8 and orange juice.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane.

Monday: Fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw, corn on the cob, biscuit, apple pie ala mode.

Tuesday: Veterans' Day, closed.

Wednesday: Beef pot roast, potato, celery, onion, carrots and gravy, fruit salad, dinner roll, cake and ice cream.

Thursday: Sweet and sour pork, brown rice pilaf, cauliflower, layered salad, whole wheat bread, fresh peach.

Friday: Minestrone soup, cottage cheese and fruit plate, chicken tenders, crackers.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Avenue.

Monday: Meatloaf, mashed potato and gravy, green beans, peaches, bread and butter.

Tuesday: Beef tips, noodles, mixed veggies, garden salad, yellow cake.

Wednesday: Salmon patties, creamed pea sauce, tomato-cucumber-onion salad, apple cobbler.

Thursday: Chicken pot pie, mixed vegetables, plums.

Friday: Waffle bar. Strawberries and blueberries, whipped cream, scrambled eggs, sausage, tomato juice.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City.

Monday: Turkey sandwich, spinach salad, melon and berries.

Tuesday: Veterans' Day, closed.

Wednesday: Lasagna, garlic bread, green salad, fruit.

Thursday: Baked ham, au gratin potatoes, candied yams.

Friday: Egg salad sandwich, pea soup, fruit salad, pudding, ice cream.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

Monday: Spaghetti, garden fresh salad, green beans, garlic bread, fruit cup and cookie.

Tuesday: Chuckwagon steak, half baked potato, frozen broccoli, beet salad, rice pudding, bread.

Wednesday: Parmesan chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, cottage cheese with fruit salad, bread, fruit dish.

Thursday: Fish and chips, coleslaw, pie.

Friday: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, frozen broccoli, carrot medley, cook's choice dessert, bread.

FERNLEY

Lunch is served on weekdays at Fernley Center, 1170 W. Newlands Drive.

Monday: Cheese tortellini/meat sauce, green salad, garlic bread, mixed fruit.

Tuesday: Veterans' Day. Center closed.

Wednesday: Lentil soup, tuna salad sandwich, fresh vegetable salad, apple quarters, caramel dip cup.

Thursday: Pork roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, whole wheat bread/margarine, applesauce.

Friday: Baked fish, rice pilaf, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, tarter sauce, banana, whole wheat bread.
