Three people were jailed early Sunday morning following a stabbing on Woodside Drive.
Jesus Zarate-Perez, 23, was booked into the Carson City Jail at 1:10 a.m. on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon, two counts of simple battery and obstructing a peace officer.
Also arrested were Cruz Rodriguez-Rodriguez, 21, and Jose Zarate, 24, each on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
According to the arrest report, police were called to an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Woodside Drive at 12:50 a.m. Sunday on a report of several people fighting.
Once there, officers found a tenant with a stab wound to the "backside," the report states. Several witnesses reported that Zarate-Perez started a fight with the victim's friend while Zarate and Rodriguez-Rodriguez allegedly began swinging bats at those who tried to intervene.
After the stabbing victim broke up the fight between his friend and Zarate-Perez, Zarate-Perez allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed him.
He was treated and released at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.
Zarate-Perez is being held on $32,671 bail. Jose Zarate and Rodriguez-Rodriguez are each being held on $20,000 bail.
