TRUCKEE, Calif. " Police in Truckee are investigating the discovery of a body in a camper that may have been there for more than a year.

Police Lt. Randy Fenn says a homeowner found the body on Saturday in the camper behind a private residence in the Olympic Heights area of Truckee.

He says the homeowner reported that the camper had been weather sealed for more than a year.

The body was in an advanced state of decomposition and has not been identified. It has been turned over to the Nevada County Sheriff's coroner.

Fenn says there is no immediate evidence that a crime was committed so it is being investigated as an unattended death.
