Nevada Supreme Court justices will gather at the Capitol on Tuesday to formally canvass the Nov. 4 election results.
Secretary of State Ross Miller will present the abstract of votes in the Old Supreme Court room on the second floor.
The official canvass before the Supreme Court is required by state law and makes the results of the election official. A majority of the court is required to complete the process.
After the canvass, Miller will present five Nevadans with the National Association of Secretaries of State Medallion Award in recognition of their work on the presidential caucuses. They are Sen. Harry Reid, former Democratic Party Chairman Jill Derby, Rebecca Lambe, Republican Party Chairman Sue Lowden and Pete Ernaut.
The canvass begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
