It is reported that two Indians froze to death in White Pine county last week. They must have been caught somewhere in the vicinity of Cleve's ranch when the returns came in.

Mr. And Mrs. Marvin Felesina and two children spent Thanksgiving Day at the home of Mr. And Mrs. P.V. Felesina of Reno. Mr. And Mrs. August Berning entertained Mr. And Mrs. Ernest Pohl and daughter, Mr. And Mrs. Bert Spencer and son at a lovely dinner yesterday on their home on Nevada street. Later in the evening Mrs. Florence Doan joined the group and 'pan' was played until a late hour.

Local residents who are unable to afford the traditional Thanksgiving dinner are invited to be guests of the Carson Nugget. The invitation is especially extended to families with young children.

Carson City got a wet holiday as snow created lousy driving conditions. The good news was that Carson got a three cent per gallon drop in gas prices. Four feet of snow was predicted for higher elevations.

Years from now more than 100 Northern Nevada residents will be able to say they planted a tree on the Carson River as part of the River Wranglers, a program that assists with conservation programs.
