Peter J. Van Alstyne, 61, a Stagecoach resident, died Oct. 4, 2008. He was born Aug. 6, 1947 in Sacramento, Calif. A memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday at the Masonic Hall in Carson City, at the corner of North Carson and Washington Street. The brethren of Amity Lodge No. 4 will perform the Masonic service. All who knew Peter are invited to attend. Autumn Funerals and Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
