Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- Esiquio Hernandez, 30, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:42 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of Corbett Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor battery on a peace officer, misdemeanor resisting arrest and destruction of property. Bail was set at $3,539.
- An 18-year-old mail clerk from Carson City was arrested at 5:43 p.m. Monday at Bath and Nevada streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $1,352.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
- Report of a man using a knife to cut open movie packages at Wal-Mart to steal them. A felony arrest was made.
- Commercial burglary report at Groves Manufacturing Storage at 7:36 a.m. on Deer Run Road.
- Report of a blue mountain bike stolen from the 2000 block of North Carson Street at 8:52 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
- Accident on Lakes Boulevard in Dayton at 6:57 a.m.
- Accident on East Main Street in Fernley at 5:20 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
- Arrest on Elm Street in Silver Springs at 5:47 p.m.
- Coroner call on Toiyabe Street in Silver Springs at 9:04 p.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
- Coroner call on Crestview Circle at 1:43 p.m.
