A group of teachers and students at Carson High School, committed to building pride in the high school, are sponsoring a coloring contest.
The Senator Pride group joined with C Unity to design a picture for elementary school students to color. It is designed to promote awareness of Homecoming week this week at the high school.
"If you are a Senator or future Senator, you should have Senator Pride," explained Sarah Lobsinger, a teacher at the high school who is helping to coordinate the event.
Students can color the image found in today's edition of the Nevada Appeal and fill out the entry form.
They can also be downloaded from nevadaappeal.com.
The colored image and entry form can then be turned into any Carson City school office by Friday.
Winners will be contacted by telephone and will receive a Senator Pride package including a T-shirt, pennant, lanyard, tickets to games, and more!
They will also be announced at a future game and in the Nevada Appeal.
Good luck.
