The Carson High freshmen football team rolled up 468 yards in total offense in a 49-0 win over Damonte Ranch on Thursday at Carson High School.
Carson's huge effort was due in large part to the offensive line led by Justin Stevens and Sam Sorensen.
Dylan Sawyers rushed for 210 yards and four touchdowns and Spencer Bass ran for 165 yards and a score.
Austin Pacheco scored on a 51-yard run and also kicked a 36-yard field goal.
Jordan Siembida scored Carson's other touchdown when he returned a fumble recovery 33 yards for a score.
Tyrel Keefer and Patrick Hesse also played well defensively for Carson (6-1 overall, 4-0 in the Sierra League).

QUALIFIES FOR STATE
Lyon County will be well represented at next week's NIAA 4A State Girls Golf Championship.
Yerington finished third as a team on Thursday to qualify for the state event which will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Spring Creek Golf Course.
Three Fernley golfers and a Dayton golfer will join Yerington at state.
The top four teams who qualified for state were Lowry, first, Spring Creek, second, Yerington, third, and Truckee, fourth.
For Yerington, Haley Richardson finished with a 102 average, Shelby Wilson finished with a 109 average, Angela Smith and Ariel Richardson finished with a 114 average, LaReina Jim finished with a 125 average and Elizabeth Pierrott finished with a 147 average.
Lyon County golfers grabbed four of the five qualifying spots on non-qualifying teams. Fernley's Loretta Kagel (105), Amanda Van Pelt (112) and Elizabeth Stix (114) and Dayton's Lauren Coons (107) all qualified for state.
