The Dayton garbage transfer station will be open for use beginning tomorrow, according to a spokesman with Waste Management.

Justin Caporusso said that residents will be able to dispose of their trash on the apron just outside the transfer station as workers continue repairing the three-side structure damaged by fire July 28.

"We will be opening our gates starting tomorrow with limited operating hours," Caporusso said in a news release. "We ask the customers bear with us as we finish restoring the facility."

During reconstruction, the operating hours will be:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It will not be open on Thursdays and Fridays.
