Barry Ginter/Nevada AppealParamedics load a Carson City man into a Care Flight helicopter Monday evening in a parking lot next to Carson High School.
Deputies were looking for a small white pickup truck that injured the man at about 6:30 p.m. on Saliman Road near Carson High School.
The truck, believed to be an Isuzu, was occupied by two people and had dealer plates, according to Sheriff Kenny Furlong.
The victim, who sustained serious injuries, was uncooperative with deputies in divulging details of the incident, Furlong said. He was taken to Renown Hospital in Reno.
