The Nevada State Museum in Carson City also had its biggest fundraiser of the year Saturday night.
The ninth annual Tin Cup Tea and Chuck Wagon Barbecue included an auction and live music to support the Nevada State Museum's collections, exhibits and education programs.
The amount the event raised wasn't immediately available on Saturday, but the fundraiser at the Governor's Mansion raised about $110,000 last year.
The museum's budget is about $2 million a year, but the museum, a division of the Nevada Department of Cultural Affairs, has always depended in part on private donations.
The band playing Saturday night was the Quebe Sisters Band.
