Elisabeth "Else" Urquhart, 95, of Carson City, passed away September 7, 2008 in Carson City. She was born July 7, 1913 in Friedberg, Germany.
Her first husband was killed in World War II and she later remarried an American soldier stationed in Germany in 1955. She enjoyed arts and crafts and loved traveling. Else moved to the U.S. in 1956, living in Massachusetts until 1994. She then moved to Sunnyvale, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Urquhart and by one brother and one sister.
Else is survived by her daughters, Dorothea J. Readhead, and husband, Gary of Carson City, and Mary M. Hasselmann, and husband, Stan of Rindge, N.H. and three grandchildren, Jesse Edmands, Scott Hasselmann, and Dojo Hasselmann.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
