RENO " The Nevada Highway Patrol says two people are dead following a head-on crash on a rural highway southeast of Reno.
The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 95 alternate between Fernley and Silver Springs.
Names of those involved were not immediately released.
The pre-dawn crash tied up traffic for several hours.
