Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 30-year-old Carson City restaurant worker was arrested at 9:09 a.m. Wednesday in the 2300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $445.

- Eric Harrison Otten, a 27-year-old unemployed Carson City man, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. Wednesday at the corner of Fairview and Pheasant drives on suspicion of gross misdemeanor weapons possession and misdemeanor failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $2,817.

- Kenneth Henry Barksdale, a 46-year-old Carson City maintenance worker, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of David Street on suspicion of a felony identity crime. Bail was set at $10,000.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

- Report of domestic battery at 2:13 a.m. Wednesday on Pinon Hills Drive.

- Report of a city truck window broke at 7:08 a.m. Wednesday on Northgate Lane.

- Report of BB gun shots at 6:59 a.m. Tuesday on Eastwood Drive.

- Report of a three-vehicle accident at 7:38 a.m. Tuesday at North Saliman Road and East Long Street. Two people were taken to the hospital.

- Report of check fraud at 1:07 p.m. Tuesday in the 2000 block of Highway 50 East. One woman was arrested on a warrant.

- Report of methamphetamine found at 3:21 p.m. in the 7700 block of Highway 50 East.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of vandalism on a cemetery plot at 9:50 a.m. in Mason Valley

- Report of two small children playing outside unattended at 10:46 a.m. on Cory Way in Fernley.

- Report of a teenager yelling and throwing things at 2:10 p.m. on Monte Cristo Drive in Dayton.

- Report of collectible coins stolen from a house at 4:39 p.m. in Fernley.

- A man was arrested at 6:41 p.m. on Commercial Avenue in Mason Valley on a Nevada Highway Patrol warrant.
