Stagecoach man hurt Sunday during attack

A 20-year-old Stagecoach man was attacked early Sunday morning and police are investigating four suspects following a standoff later that day, according to the Lyon County Sheriff's Department.

Police found Cody Harp with a head injury after officers were called to his house in the 5500 block of Shoshone Drive around 1:30 a.m. Sunday regarding five people with a gun.

Harp was taken to the hospital and has since been released, according to Lt. Rob Hall. Police do not know what he was hit with, he said.

Officers found a suspect's vehicle in the 1600 block of 6th Street in Silver Springs around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report. The sheriff's department called out special weapons and negotiations teams that brought out the suspects peacefully around 9:50 a.m. Sunday.

Hall said of five people who went into Harp's house and four of them are suspects.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
