Carson City
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
- Report of a fist fight at 12:16 a.m. on Beverly Drive.
- Report of a man choking a woman at 12:58 a.m. in the 1200 block of Ridge Point Drive. A misdemeanor arrest was made.
- Report of a vehicle rollover on Butti Way at 3:06 a.m. When police arrived, the vehicle was unoccupied.
- Residential burglary report at 10:07 a.m. of someone entering a home through a boarded up garage window.
- Report of a man sitting against a fence yelling and trying to walk through an imaginary door. Police confronted the man and he was allegedly in possession of a purse stolen the previous evening from a vehicle. A felony arrest was made.
- Report of a laptop stolen from an apartment on South Roop Street at 9:39 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
- Misdemeanor arrest on Goldfield Avenue in Mason Valley at 1:52 a.m.
- Felony arrest on West Newlands Drive in Fernley at 2:27 a.m.
- Coroner call on Emigrant Way in Fernley at 5:21 p.m.
- A woman reported at 7:14 p.m. in the 500 block of Lytham Court that a stray German shepherd in her backyard bit her.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
- Report of a 31-year-old man temporarily losing his vision following an ATV rollover on Six Mile Canyon Road at 1:26 p.m.
- A caller reported at 3:18 p.m. that they witnessed a malnourished white horse in Mark Twain eating feces. The caller said the horse's ribs could be seen.
- Report of a patron refusing to pay a bill at a South C Street restaurant at 5:36 p.m.
- An arrest on South A Street after a caller reported seeing a vehicle "teetering" on the side of a hill with two children inside at 7:12 p.m.
