Jacqueline, age 53, passed away at her home in Carson City, Sept. 18, 2008, after a long battle with cancer.
Jacqueline was born Nov. 30, 1954 in Carson City to James Arthur Brooks and Lois Margaret Brooks. She was raised in Gardnerville and graduated from Douglas High School in 1974. She soon met the love of her life, John Jurosovich. They were married in Gardnerville July 21, 1979. They have two boys, Dylan Thomas, age 18 and Connor James, age 12.
Jacqueline was a dedicated supervisor at Eagle Valley Children's Home for 18 years. She enjoyed traveling and camping with her family and friends.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband John, her two sons Dylan and Connor, her mother Lois, brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Melanie Brooks and Lewis Patrick and Annette Brooks, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, James and her sister in law, Jacqueline.
Jacqueline was a vibrant, beautiful, inspirational woman who will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
A private memorial service in her honor will be held at her home. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund for her sons is set up at Wells Fargo Bank.
